Branagh brought his immense energy to his adaptation of Shakespeare's Henry V 1989 to the screen. His other directorial and acting credits include the films Dead Again 1991, Peter's Friends 1992, Much Ado About Nothing 1993, and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein 1994. He is married to actress Emma Thompson with whom he frequently co-stars. He cofounded, with David Parfitt, the Renaissance Theatre Company 1987-1994, and was a notable Hamlet 1988 and 1992, and Touchstone 1988.
